Cat Cafe is a dark timber café you build yourself, made for cats, coffee and tiny details. Yellow cats and a steaming coffee cup frame the sign above the windows, and a paw-print window sits over the front door.
In the front window, a cat in a blue dress and white apron holds a cup and a menu next to a white lucky cat with a gold coin. Behind her, the brick walls are lined with a cat clock, an old radio, a camera, shelves of books and framed cat paintings above a green tufted sofa with red plaid cushions. A fluffy white cat sits on the floor beside it.
Through the door, a cash register sits on the counter with a bag of coffee beans and an iced drink. Next to it, a tabby barista is mid-pour above a display case full of cat-shaped pastries. The side wall swings open to reveal a play area with paw-print climbing towers, a moon-shaped perch and a red gingham hammock. Switch on the LED lights and the café glows warm from inside.
This is an Advanced kit, so plan on about 6–8 hours. The wooden pieces come pre-cut, numbered and already coloured, and the illustrated manual takes you through each step. The finished café is 18 cm wide, 13.5 cm deep and 21 cm tall. You'll also need craft glue and 2 × AAA batteries for the lights. Neither is included.
