Sushi House is a DIY miniature house kit inspired by a Japanese restaurant, small enough for a shelf but packed with details that make it feel like somewhere you might stumble across after dark.
The fun is in the bits you might miss at first: the eel banner over the counter, ramen options chalked up with prices in yen, a maneki-neko raising one paw beside the teapot, and sake bottles lined along the back shelf. Even the sign in the window still says open. You build these little details separately, and somewhere along the way, the collection of parts starts to feel like a real shop.
When the warm LEDs come on, the counter glows and light slips past the fence onto the stone paving, leaving the back of the shop in shadow. From across the room, it looks like a tiny shopfront still serving late into the evening. Up close, there is always something else to notice.
The cat, meanwhile, has already claimed the best stool and fallen asleep.
