Sweet House Build Notes

This page adds three notes that may be helpful while you build your Sweet House. Keep following the printed instructions, with these points alongside them.

1. Light wiring

First: route the wires and attach the circuit board

There are three groups of wires: two groups of light wires and one group that connects to the circuit board.

One group of light wires passes up through and runs around to the middle — this becomes the ceiling light. The other comes straight up from underneath and sits behind the shelves. The third group connects to the circuit board.

Align the back of the circuit board with the switch icon, then press firmly.

Second: align the ceiling panel

The square panel lying flat on the right of the photo is the ceiling. Keep the edge beside the house in place and flip the whole panel over, following the arrow. The side facing up in the photo should face down once the panel is fitted.

Third: hide the wires

There is a narrow gap between the shelves and the blue side wall, made to hold the wires. You can see it in the photo above. Tuck the wires into this gap and run them down to the bottom, then tuck any extra wire in beside the battery box.

2. Paper pieces

Before you begin the cake part of the build, keep a pair of scissors at hand. The cake component needs to be cut out by hand.

3. Part number correction

In the coffee machine step, B3 should be B10. B10 is the coffee machine.
